If you run a small business or aspire to build one, you most likely spend a lot of time thinking about strategy. Of course, a strong business strategy is essential to growth. However, one of the most important components is something that is too often overlooked. Forbes recently shared some insight from Andrei Petrik, CEO of NetHunt CRM.
Andrei points out that small business relies on relationships above all else. If you are in charge of a start-up, you don’t have the resources of Amazon or the funds of Walmart. What you do have is an opportunity to show your value through relationships you build with customers, partners, and the community. Check out the Forbes article here.
From my experience, this is certainly solid advice. As a writer, my success is based on clear communication and respect for my audience and clients. In my time freelancing on Fiverr, I have forged strong relationships with many clients who consistently come back to me for work. If you are looking to scale your small business, I highly recommend looking at how you interact with those around you.
